This website is deliberately simple. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services, embeds no social media buttons and contains no contact form. There are no user accounts and no newsletter.
When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data: the page requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, your browser and operating system, and your IP address. This is required in order to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
This website is hosted by an external service provider who processes the access data described above on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

The fonts used are loaded from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts, and your IP address is not passed on for this purpose.
On the home page you can choose to load a Google Maps map. The map does not load automatically. You first see only a placeholder showing our address; the map is embedded only after you click "Load map".
Clicking transmits data to Google, in particular your IP address, and this may include transfer to the USA. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by that click. You can use the site without ever loading the map; a direct link to Google Maps is offered as an alternative. The "Reviews" section contains a link to our Google listing. This is a plain link; no content is loaded from Google. Google's privacy terms apply only once you follow the link.
If you call us or send an email, we process the data you provide solely in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for reservation enquiries and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete such data once it is no longer needed, subject to statutory retention periods.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You may withdraw any consent given at any time. Please contact us at the address under section 1.
